After struggling with mental health issues and past trauma, I chose to pursue a career to help others. I choose to see the good in people, regardless of what they do or say. The last 3 years at Fanshawe have not been easy, but they have been the years that have helped me see who I am. In the 3rd year of my program I have maintained a 4.2 GPA and continue to strive for success, accomplishment and compassion.

Through will power, numerous supports throughout my life and dedication to bringing hope for the future I have achieved my dreams and will continue to do so. I have worked hard to become who I am and to find myself here. There are days that it is difficult for me to get out of bed, days where I want to let everything go because I feel hopeless, but I know that I can do it as long as I put my mind to it. Nothing is impossible in this world, perseverance, dedication and strength will allow you to accomplish any dream.
