It took me a bit of time to decide what direction I wanted to take in my life. At 26 years old I am in my first year of the Fanshawe-Western Collaborative Nursing program.
I have been a hospital employee for most of my early twenties. I love working at the hospital, but I wanted to be able to do more. I felt the need push myself further and didn't know where to start.

I contacted Fanshawe College about applying to the nursing program. They helped me through the application process of applying as a mature student. The transition from full time work to working part time with full time school was challenging. My teachers helped me with this process.

I am excited for my new life at school and anticipate the challenges ahead. I can't wait to graduate and work as a nurse in the London community. It's a relief to know that whatever direction I want to take Fanshawe College will help me get there.
