Marg: A story of perseverance
In February of 1985, I walked through the doors of Fanshawe College as a high school co-op student working in the Co-operative Education office. I was told that there was no way that I would achieve a full-time position as it was very hard to get into the college; therefore, achieving my first full-time permanent role at Fanshawe was a very exciting time. I went on to complete post-secondary courses concurrently with working and volunteering at the college. Fanshawe has been a part of my life longer than it hasn’t been. Through the years I have persevered, worked hard, and achieved positions in different areas of the college rounding out my Fanshawe experience. Fast forward 30 years, I am again working in the Co-operative Education office as a Co-operative Education Consultant.
