Scott: A story of strength
What brought you to Fanshawe?
I had a radio interview with Meagan from CIXX-FM regarding my recently published book called I'm Just Sayin'. I was a student in the early 1990's. I am proud to share my experiences with students and hopefully inspire people to follow their dreams.
Tell us about your favourite Fanshawe experience.
I was the only non-radio student in a radio class. My nickname was "Scott-not-in-radio." I dressed up as the Fanshawe Falcon for a children's Christmas party. I was also the host for the B.C. women's soccer team for the championships held by the college that year. I helped set up the stage for The Barenaked Ladies.
What impact has Fanshawe had on your life?
I had some great memories from my year here. I met many great people and have some life-long friends from my time here. Now, I am a self-published author who in the past 3 weeks had my first book published. I learned to follow my dreams and make them reality.
