Tabatha: A story of change for the right reasons
My story is one of personal growth and achievement. I am a "mature" student being 27 and having been out of school for the last 10 years. I have an amazing son named Rowen who is ten and am where I am today because of him. Rowen has been the driving force behind all of my achievements because Rowen is developmentally delayed and although every day is just a bit harder for us than an average person we still face each day positively. I lead by example to encourage my son into new experiences, so when he started having motivation issues with school I decided to go back and graduate to show him it's possible, and applied to college to give him a future goal. I want to show my son that although we have come from a troubled past, our future is as bright as we want to make it.
